Awesome work on your Bruce Lee pics, I am a huge fan of his and I remember watching his movies on Saturday afternoons and midnight showings when I was a little kid. What are some of your other favorite martial artists?

Wow an original piece of art. Not bad at all!!! Most drawings of Bruce stink cuz they just render an already existing photo, or make it look super cartoony. This is like a comic book drawing, this is bad ass. Make more!

One of the first examples of mixed martial arts on film. The arm bar he put Sammo in was crazy cool. I also love the fact that Sammo could do back hand springs even though he's portly. Super nimble for a fat guy...

No problem! I'm glad to see another person so fond of Bruce!
Funny thing is regardless of how great he is, there are so many people who know nothing about him if not worse not know him at all..
I went to a footlockers store (sports wear shop) and was looking for a yellow tshirt I was hoping to make something similar to the Game of Death track suit, and i figured if i could find one with the black strips down the sides it would save me time, so I asked the employee's who worked there if they had anything like in the game of death, about 4 people were working, and not one of them even knew who Bruce Lee was...

It was pretty sad, to say the least these guys disappointed me..
But as Bruce use to say "I'm not here to live up to your expectations, and you aren't here to live up to mine..."

Anyways It's refreshing to see someone who is also keeping his memory alive! Great job again! ;)

I don't believe you. That can't have really happened. There's literally no one in the world who doesn't know who Bruce Lee is. But if it's true (shocking!) how old were they around? PLEASE don't tell me they were asian (that would be sad).

Yeah I can't believe it happened either!
Unfortunately there are people today who don't know what a true legend is! I've even met people who didn't know the difference between Bruce Lee and Jet Li... (How sad huh?)

Anyways I'd say they were at least between the ages of 17 to 22..
And to make it worse, one of them WAS Asian..
Another guy was black and the girl who was there was Caucasian... =/

okay between age 17-22 COULD be a valid excuse since they might be too young or something, but I'm not sure about that. If they were 9-14 then OKAY. But not the Asian kid, that just didn't make any sense! He should be ashamed of himself. What kind of parents are raising him in a cave?!

Lee is influential to the entire culture of the world, from comic books, to movies, to music, to dancing, to philosophy, to sports, and of course to Martial Art!

To COMIC BOOKS: When Lee showed us an actual live super human it radically altered how comicbooks could be able to show super heroes function practicality. They modeled the ability of skill and prowess of a superhero based on the reality Bruce Lee's demonstrated. Stan Lee himself attest to this, saying "I dont think there is a superhero who was not changed because of Bruce Lee".

To SPORTS: Manny Paquiou, current world champion boxer, says he models his foot work and his speed techniques off of Bruces, and the UFC keep mentioning his name cause they can't escape it. Body Building keeps praising his inspiration.

To MUSIC: A lot of Euro dance music and especially b-boy rhythm's have adjusted their melody and tunes to the nature of a slick and thin animal such as Bruce Lee. Rap music itself is constantly based it's philosophy of rebellion and justice from Bruce. Even musician Santana loves Bruce.

To MOVIES: Well, we can't even open a can of worms there. But to be short: the guy only made 3 HongKong chop saki flicks (and a Hollywood feature) and yet he's still remembered in Hollywood and in all of the worlds cinema. Who makes 3 mediocre budget movies and changes the industry? Who never enters Hollywood...and becomes that big IN Hollywood?!

To PHILOSOPHY: More people today study Lee's exercise of philosophy than that of Plato or Socrates. "Love of truth" is what PHILO SOPHY means in Greek as it pursues the study of the human body and the study of the human mind. So Bruce had a focus on the SELF and so had a deep understanding of both the human mind and the human body, and as such became the ultimate Philosopher, or the ultimate lover of truth. From his book, his essays, his few interviews, and even his films, he conveys a knowledge that strikes a chord of truth. When the late 80's came and the late 90's "self help" books started it's trend and Bruce was the pioneer of such a subject long before Oprah. Bruce was all about self actualization.

Well I've rambled on here, maybe you can print this out and hand it to any asian guy who goes "Bruce Lee? Who's that a chef?" Sorry for ranting here but there you go, lol.

Nice to meet a fellow Bruce Lee kicker!

There is no valid excuse not to know Bruce Lee! It's just unacceptable! I mean all the things he accomplished and stood for!

Oh believe me I know all about the way he influenced the world and of the accomplishments he did in his lifetime!

You should watch the movie "How Bruce Lee Changed the World"
This is a extremely epic movie, it was actually something his family played a part it putting out!

lol Believe me if I started rambling on about how great Bruce Lee was/is I may never shut up! lol
Honestly reading the many great things about Bruce Lee would be too good for those kids, I think they need to get a beat down Bruce Lee style to get such a great legend into their thick skulls...

I agree it is nice to meet a fellow Bruce Lee fan who keeps the memory of a true legend alive!
